This blog includes a variety of posts talking about Fantasy Baseball, the New York Mets, and sports in general. A huge part of this blog also features articles by Joseph “J-Train” Liao. J-Train is the first Taiwanese baseball writer to join the BBWAA, he currently writes for World Journal in NYC, and spends most of his time covering Chien-Ming Wang of the New York Yankees. He generously granted me permission to translate his articles into English in order to share his insights with non-Chinese speaking fans. You will notice that many of his articles talk about some behind the scene anecdotes or feel good stories. I believe that there are many talented beatwriters or bloggers that can break down stats or talk about the game, but these translated articles talk about a different side of these athletes, one that all baseball fans - not just Yankee fans - can appreciate.
HAKANIN.com is edited mainly by me, Spliao, a 24-yr-old computer science/Japanese major in some university in Washington, DC. I truly enjoy the game of baseball and basketball, and my proudest sporting related moment was getting removed from the Yankees club house when they came to DC.
This blog is still young, and I still have much more to learn in terms of bringing the best content to the readers, so thank you all for the support and criticism.
